You're Retro - with Pretty Cute Stamps

I made a card with stamps from the PCS stamp set called "Game On" and masked the text. The starry background are made with stamps from the set as well, stamped with Distress inks. I really like this set. Amazing stamps and sentiment for the gamer and I have plenty of those in my family.

July DT spotlight - with Kitty Bee Designs

July spotlight with Kitty Bee Designs :-)

Today I'm using IPod Panda and he is not colored at all. Well, that's not the whole truth, the nose is pink :-)
The background and the frame is colored in with a black archival ink pad. I pressed the paper down on the ink pad and the awesome pattern appears.

By the Sea - with Pretty Cute Stamps

It's challenge time at Pretty Cute Stamps. The theme is "By the Sea" and you need to use a PCS design.

If you upload your project on the PCS blog you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate for some amazing PCS shopping!

The card for today is made with a dolphin from a set called  "Sea Ya Soon" and a sentiment from the Sea Life Sentiments set.

The dolphin is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and she spins! The video isn't quite ready but as soon as it is I will post it here :-) The background is made with a stencil I made using a digital file from the Silhouette design store. I just used a few distress ink colors and a make up sponge to color it in.

I'm showing a card I made with the set called "Lighthouse".

I used some patterned paper for the light. I made small cuts to the light source on the stamp and put the paper in the cuts and behind the actual design. I cut the water and hills by hand. Sequins are always self explanatory ;-)

July release sneak peek - with Pretty Cute Stamps

It's release time! The July designs will be available on Wednesday the 13th when we have our fun Blog Hop. Please join us!

Today and tomorrow you get a little sneak peek of all the new images. Visit the PCS blog for more peeks. I'm showing a card made from a cute sailor and a sentiment from the new set "Sailmate".

I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and made som accents with a white pen. The sentiment is glued down in the center and the ends are secured with 3D foam squares.

I used the super sweet Strawberry Hat Kid from Lemon Shortbread. She is colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and fussy cut. The background is with distress inks and the smoosh technique. Love it!

CAS - with Sasayaki Glitter

It's time for a new challenge at Sasayaki Glitter and the theme is CAS.

I love CAS but I never know when to stop ;-)
However, I do think I kept it very clean this time. I used Mia for this card and colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers. You can find here in the Etsy store here.

The "hi" is a die from My favorite things and I made six cuts in three colors that matched Mia. Love the dimension it brings.

My inspiration project for the July Challenge is a few notecards made with the lil' Sweet Chirps (image no. 197). I took some journaling cards from a set I had in my stash and just glued the cutie on. But first they got different colors (Spectrum Noir markers). And also a little sparkle with some silver glitter glue. I already used one when adding a note to some summer treats for my co-workers.

There is a stream running through my town and in it there are beavers. I think they are adorable but I guess I wouldn't get too close. By the stream the town recently built a new playground (still under construction) and it's amazing, Among other things there is a huge wooden beaver from which there is a slide, a climbing wall and inside you can play house. My son loves it! (you can find some good pics of the playground here: http://dagmammans.blogspot.se/2016/06/justin-baver-finns-pa-lekplatsen-i.html).

So what would be better than a card featuring the super cute beaver by Pretty Cute Stamps. The digi set is called Beavers in Love. I colored her with Faber Castell Polychromos. So cute!

Sun, moon & stars - with Gecko Galz

Månadens utmaningn hos Gecko Galz heter "Sun, Moon & Stars". Varför inte vara med? :-)

Denna gång gjorde jag några minikort (ca. 5x5 cm) med motiv från ett set som heter Sun, moon stars.
Kanten på minikorten är färgade med en glittrig färg från Lindy's Stamp Gang som heter Starburst Stain (nyans: Bachelor Button Blue).

Längst ner i inlägget ligger även några projekt jag gjort tidigare med Gecko Galz men som tyvärr inte hamnat på bloggen... Förrän nu :-D
