Idag visar jag en mixed media canvastavla som jag gjort till min dotter. Hon önskade sig lite tavlor och då är det väl nästan obligatoriskt med en hemmagjord när man ändå är pysslare.

Motivet heter Suzy Q (Image no. 2) och tavlan är ca. 30x30 cm stor.

Today I'm showing a mixed media canvas that I made for my daughter. She wanted some wall art for her room and with a request like that you pretty much have to make one yourself if you are a crafter :-)

The image I've used is Suzy Q (Image no. 2) and the canvas is about 12x12 inches.

I walk with the dead - Favorite television show challenge(MAWTT)

Mitt första DT-uppdrag är för utmaningen "Inspirerad av mitt favoritprogram på TV" hos Moving Along With The Time (MAWTT) utmaningsblogg.

Jag tittar väldigt mycket på olika serier men tanken for först till The Walking Dead så den blev det. Jag valde ett motiv och la in en döskalle (i Photoshop) på halva hennes ansikte. Jag använde mina Spectrum Noir-pennor och färglade slarvigt i grått, grönt och rött.
När det var dags att få till ett kort rafsade jag ihop en massa blandade papper, pärlor, mists, crackle paint, akrylfärger, lim, blommor med mera. Sen slutade jag att tänka... Ja, det blir så ibland och det fungerar ofta ganska bra. Att använda det jag har framför mig utan att fundera så mycket hur det blir. Det gäller att sluta i tid bara ;-) Jag känner mig nöjd med resultatet. För mig är kortet inspirerat av serien. The Walking Dead goes mixed media :-)

My first DT card is for the "Inspired by my favorite television programme" challenge over at  Moving Along With The Time (MAWTT) challenge blog.

I watch alot of shows on TV but my mind went to The Walking Dead immediatly, so that one it is. I chose an image and added a skull on one half of her face (in Photoshop). I used my Spectrum Noirs and "messy colored" in grey, green and red. When it was time to make a card I took out different papers, beads, mists, crackle paint, acrylics, glue, flowers and more. Then I stopped thinking... That happens sometimes and it works out pretty well. To use what I have in front of me and not thinking about how it will turn out. The trick is to stop in time ;-) I'm pleased with the result and for me the card is inspired by the show. The Walking Dead goes mixed media :-)
