Spring into summer - Color challenge at MAWTT

Då var det dags igen :-) Veckans utmaning hos  MAWTT (Moving Along With The Time) Challenge blog har temat "Spring into summer". Inspireras av färgerna på bilden nedan och var med!

Mitt kort är ett så kallat stafflikort med en mall från Silhouette. Den underbart söta trädgårdstomten (och texten) kommer ifrån Kraftin' Kimmie. Hon är färglagd med Spectrum Noir markers (jag tränar och tränar...). Jag tycker själv att jag fångar känslan i färgerna från inspirationsbilden även om det inte är klockrent.

My card is an easel card made with my Silhouette. The adorable gnome (and the sentiment) comes from Kraftin' Kimmie. She is colored using Spectrum Noir markers (I practise and practise...). Even though I may not nail the colors from the inspiration photo, I'm still kind of pleased.

Denna veckas utmaning på MAWTT (Moving Along With The Time) Challenge blog har temat "Birds or feathers". Ditt alster ska ha med en (eller flera) fåglar eller fjädrar eller kanske både och :-)

Mitt kort för denna veckan har ett urgulligt motiv från From The Heart Stamps och det är en av deras "Birdbrains". Denna heter Bouquet Chick. Jag slängde dit lite Spectrum Noir Markers och försökte matcha färgerna med papper som jag har. Måste börja fundera på att vända på proceduren. Det blir MYCKET enklare ;-) Min färglagda bild fick en liten småbarnshantering vilket jag försökte dölja med lite blommor (det syns fortfarande men jag ville ju inte dölja hela fågeln...). Blommorna i övre hörnet är gjorda med samma mönsterpapper som i botten och jag skrev "hello" på en bit wood veneer.

My card for this week has a super cute "birdbrain" from From The Heart Stamps. This one is called Bouquet Chick. I threw on some Spectrum Noir Markers and then tried to match it with paper in my stash. I have to change this procedure around. It will make things ALOT easier ;-) My colored image got som toddler treatment which I tried to hide with some flowers. The flowers in the upper corner are made using the same patterned paperthat I put at the bottom and I took a piece of wood veneer and wrote "hello" on that.

Inspiration Photo - MAWTT Challenge

Denna veckas utmaning på MAWTT (Moving Along With The Time) Challenge blog har temat "Inspiration Photo". Du ska med andra ord inspireras av följande foto:

Inte särskilt svårt :-) Välj färgerna, motivet, tema "Fjäril"... Vad du vill!

Mitt eget bidrag är ett enkelt kort (ja... CAS igen...) där jag stämplat en fjäril med en vattenlöslig regnbågsdyna på akvarellpapper. Sedan sprayade jag lite med vatten för att lösa upp motivet lite. Färgerna sprider sig jättefint på akvarellpapperet. Jag avslutar med att stämpla ett citat i mörkgrått och monterar på svart papper för att få till den smala ramen.

My card is a simple one (yes... CAS again...). I stamped a butterfly using a water soluble ink pad on aquarelle paper. I then spritzed the image with water. The effect is so beautiful on aquarelle paper.
I finished off by stamping a quote with dark grey ink and mounted it on black paper to make a thin frame.

In the wild - MAWTT Challenge

Denna veckas utmaning på MAWTT (Moving Along With The Time) Challenge blog har temat "In the wild".  Du tyder temat som du vill, djur, natur eller något annat "vilt" :-)

Återigen blir det ett enklare kort. Jag har använt ett av mina egna motiv. Den underbart söta zebran som min kära vän Tina designade för mitt företag. För er som inte vet så startade jag Osmil Motivstämplar år 2001. Jag stängde officiellt ner 2013 men hade satt företaget långt ner på prioriteringslistan innan dess. Jag ska försöka att använda mina motiv lite oftare för att de är grymma :-) Jag har även en del omonterade stämplar kvar och jag funderar på att lotta ut några påsar. En blogg-candy kanske?
Ja, kortet då. Bakgrunden är gjord med en stencil och glimmer mist. Citatet är från filmen Madagascar och zebran Marty. Min lille zebra är stämplad med en mörkgrå vattenfast dyna.

Like last time, this card is also CAS. I used one of my own stamps, the wonderful zebra that my dear friend Tina designed for my business. For those of you that don't know, I started Osmil Motivstämplar in 2001 and officially closed down in 2013. I will try to use my designs more often because they are awesome :-) I also have some stamps left and I'm thinking of having a giveaway, like a blog candy. What do you think?

The card, yes... The background is made using a stencil and glimmer mists. The quote is from Madagascar and Marty the Zebra. MY zebra is stamped using a dark grey archival ink.

I'm so happy! I was asked to be a guest designer for Art By MiRan's Showcase blog for March with the theme "Fun hair color". This is my first time being asked and it feels great :-)

This is also my first time making a shaker card. It was so much fun but I need to practise a bit. Although I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I love mermaids and this one by MiRan is so sweet. I colored her with pencils and added some "fishy" white dots with a gel pen. My daughter chose the hair color and that the tips would be a different one, kind of like the ombre style that she loves :-)

Three in a row - MAWTT Challenge

Mitt kort är ett CAS-kort med ett härligt motiv från Sami Stamps. Jag har färglagt med Polychromos förutom paraplyet som färgades med akvarellpennor. Jag sprejade med vatten men tyckte att det blå blev för svagt. Piffade till med lite turkosblå mist. Jag skar ut hjärtat och bokstäverna med min Silhouette Portrait i samma papper som motivet för att få till en faux embosseffekt. Ja, kanske lite fusk men jag tycker att känslan blir nästan samma ;-)

My choice: Washi - Image - Embossing

My card is CAS using a lovely image from  Sami Stamps. I colored with Polychromos besides the umbrella which is colored with watercolor pencils. After spraying water I felt that the blur was too pale so I added som aqua:ish mist. I cut the heart and letters with my Silhouette Portrait in the same paper as the image to get a faux embossed effect. Yes, it might be cheating but I think the feeling is almost the same ;-)

"Orange you glad" Challenge

AAA Cards har en ny utmaning. Som vanligt är det CAS som gäller och temat är "Orange you glad you're CAS?" Kortet är gjort i ett lager, sprayat med hemmagjord orange mist och sedan stämplat och embossat en gammal goding som jag hittade på nytt här hemma.

Ett kalas till. Denna gången är det dotterns kompis som fyller år. Temat på kalaset är anime/manga och vad passar då bättre än ett motiv av ArtByMiran? Jag har till och med rasslat fram ett embossingpulver :-) Polysparkle (klart med lite glitter i) vilket sitter som en ram runt flickan.

Another birthday party. This time it's my daughters friend whos having a anome/manga party. What better image to use than one by ArtByMiran? I even used some (old) embossing powder :-) Polysparkle (clear with a little sparkle) which is on the frame around the girl.

Blue är temat på The Paper Shelters senaste utmaning. Egentligen Blue Winter men det verkar vara ok att bara ta den första ;-)
För ett tag sen berättade jag att jag vann stämplar från The Paper Shelter genom deras blog hop. Detta motivet är ett av de jag vann och den heter "I miss you".

"Blue" is the theme of the latest of The Paper Shelters challenge. Well, it's really "Blue Winter" but it seems to be alright to just use the first word ;-)

This is my application for the art by miran design team.

The reason I'm applying for the art by miran design team is mainly because I love the designs of the stamps. I've always loved this type of images and it brings back memories of some of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid :-) Another reason for applying is that I've never been on any design team and I would love to be. Be a part of a team of people like me <3

This application is very short but I'd love to answer more questions if you have any :-)

Now to my application card:

I used a stamp called "Coraline". I love her. She's so peaceful.

I decided to make her into a vintage photo so she's colored with all greys. I decorated the card with some vintage paper (from an 19th century, swedish, almanac), ribbon, flowers and a doily that I inked and I kept all the colors muted. I hope the feeling of the card shines through and that you like it :-)
