You're pretty - Oddball Art

Hi.

Welcome to another guest designer card for Oddball Art. This time I used the super pretty Noora (image no. 244) and I actually made a video of the whole process. Yikes! I'm not talking though... Not quite there yet...

This is the first video I made not using only images. It's not perfect but I really enjoyed it so hopefully I'll make more and get better at it. Please watch it and also please comment  with what you think.

I used an really cute image from Make it Crafty called "Carlie with Flowers".
She is colored with my watercolor pencils (as usual nowadays) and gave her a bright blue dress :-)
I used happy colored patterned paper and sewed a bit for some cute contrast. I also added some lace to the flowers in her hand and the same kind to the flowers in the bottom corner.

New release + freebie - with Pretty Cute Stamps

It's time for another amazing PCS release!
Yesterday the sneak peeks started in the PCS blog and we are giving peeks today as well :-)
Wednesday (September 21st) is realease day and as usual we celebrate with a one day blog hop. Don't miss it!

My sneak peek features two stamp sets: Frankenstein's Monster and his bride ♥
I made the card in all black and white in an attempt to make it look like an old movie. I think I made it - besides from the green in the flowers. Please pretend it's black ;-)

I colored the happy couple with watercolor pencils. The sky is also made with them and I added some silver swirls just because.

I used both of these sets for my card and the totally adorable stamps are available on Wednesday in the PCS store :-D

Anything Goes at Paper Smooches - #2

Here is my second card for the Anything Goes challenge over at Paper Smooches.

This is also a CAS card and I made this card similar to the owl card simply because I like it :-)

This time I used two dies from Paper Smooches. I used a cut from the Honey Comb die as a stencil and made the background. And the flower  die is called Adorable Array. I used watercolor pencils to color in the flower and bud and left the rest of the die empty.

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Polka Dots - with Pretty Cute Stamps

It's challenge time at Pretty Cute Stamps and time to get our polka dot on :-)

For this challenge I played with one of the super cute Birthday Beavers.

I colored him with watercolor pencils and made the card very simple with a polka dot border and a matching paper bow. I even color matched his lil' hat and gift (and the enamel dots).

Count Penguin - with KittyBee Designs

It's my DT spotlight over att KittyBee Designs.

I really enjoy making Halloween cards and I'm starting already :-)

Here I'm showing the very cute Count Penguin. I colored him with watercolor pencils and let his cape "fly" a little. I made a "scene" with patterned paper and for once I didn't use sequins ;-)

Here Comes the Sun - with Pretty Cute Stamps

Today I'm featured on the PCS blog and I'm showing a card made with the cutest sun ever from Pretty Cute Stamp's clear stamp set Sunshiny Day.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper (with a sand colored ink pad). The I worked in sections with watercolor pencils. Sun, clouds, sky and let it completely dry inbetween.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I added some yellow sequins to make it sparkle a bit :-)

I used the sweet Wanda (Image No. 9). I printed her in a very pale brownish color in an attempt to do some no-line coloring. I colored with watercolor pencils and I also made her hait´r much longer than it usually is. The hair is blowing in the wind and the Toni Morrison quote was a nice fit.

My card for this challenge is very colorful. I used part of the Lizards in Love digi simply because it's SO cute ♥

I made the background and the lizard coloring with watercolor pencils. I cut out one of the lizards and attached it with 3D adhesive. I also added some enamel dots, one with a nice sentiment.
